PT Plus settings request

Tell our engineering team how you want your PT Plus configured. Enter values in whichever unit suits you, milliseconds, seconds, minutes or hours, we translate to the machine values. Defaults follow Annex I of the operating manual.

Step 1 of 5

Who is this for?

This goes only to RNC engineering. We use it to prepare your configuration file.

Step 2 of 5 · Device identity

Name and program

Device name Reference on the configuration file so our team knows which unit this is.
Product type Defines how the device responds when a user presses the switch.
On / Off
First press opens the output, second press closes it.
Programmed
One press runs the output for Flow Time, then auto-closes.
Programmed On / Off
Runs for Flow Time; user can pause and resume within Security Time.
Valve type Type of solenoid valve wired to the device. Determines how the output drives it.
Non-latching
Continuous 6-24V power while the output is active. Default.
Latching
Short 12V pulse to open and to close. Set Pulse time below.
Pulse time Opening and closing pulse length for the latching solenoid valve. Match your valve supplier's recommendation. Only applies to latching valves.
default 50 ms
Step 3 of 5 · Timers

Timing behaviour

Delays, flow windows, security cut-offs and lockouts. Delay In and Delay Out are factory-tuned, tick to override.

Delay In Detects the initial presence of a user before the piezo activates. Higher values reject false triggers on vibrating mounts, but make the touch feel slower.
factory 20 ms
Delay Out Delays the output activation after a press. Rarely used, mostly specific applications like toilets.
factory 0 ms
Flow Time Drives the valve for a set duration. Not used in On/Off mode.
default 60 s
Security Time Maximum time the output can be active. Safety backstop for unintentional operation, e.g. electronics failure.
default 60 s
Product Lock Time Waiting period between activations. Set when users should only use the product at intervals. 0 disables the lock.
default 0 (off)
Clean Lock Time not used in standard configurations Locks the output during cleaning, unrelated to user activation. Maintenance-only. 0 disables the lock.
default 0 (off)
Step 4 of 5 · Touch

Touch sensitivity

Single value, 0 to 3000. Higher = more sensitive. 251 suits the vast majority of installations and is our recommendation.

Sensitivity level Force required to activate the PT Plus. Our recommended value is 251, the best balance between responsiveness and false-trigger rejection. Safe working range is roughly 200–500.
of 3000
recommended 251
Step 5 of 5 · Hygiene flush

Automatic hygiene flush

Prevents water stagnation by running the valve automatically after a quiet period.

Flush cycle Interval between automatic flush cycles. Set to 0 to disable.
default 72 h
Flush duration How long the valve stays open when a flush cycle triggers.
default 60 s
Flush type Which timer the flush cycle runs on.
Standard
Flush runs on a fixed schedule, regardless of use.
Smart
Cycle resets after each user activation, flush only runs after inactivity equal to the cycle.
Flush delay Initial delay before the first flush runs after power-on. Runs once, resets only on power cycle.
default 12 h
Finish & submit
