PTB-19 piezo switch, 19 mm, bevelled
The PTB-19 is a vandal-resistant piezo switch with a bevel on its face, so the activation area is easy to find. It mounts on an M19 x 0.75 thread with a front diameter of 24 mm, in aluminium 6061 T651 or stainless steel 303, 304 or 316. It is sealed to IP68 and IP69K, rated IK10, and used in food processing, parking meters, sanitary products, pools and spas, clean rooms, oil and gas, and self-service terminals.

Can the PTB-19 be used with gloves or wet hands?
Yes. The PTB-19 datasheet lists activation with gloves and wet hands, and reliable operation with snow and mud. The bevel on the face makes the activation area easy to identify.
What thread and front diameter does the PTB-19 have?
The PTB-19 mounts on an M19 x 0.75 thread. The drawing gives a front diameter of 24 mm, a 1.2 mm front flange and a 20 mm body behind it. The datasheet gives a mounting torque of 2.5 Nm.
Can the PTB-19 be pressure washed?
Yes. The PTB-19 is sealed to IP68 and IP69K and its datasheet rates it washdown-proof up to 100 bar. With no moving parts there is no gap for dirt or germs to build up.
